2023 3D Archery Shootout
Join us this Summer for the 36th Annual Sunrise 3D Archery Shootout! The largest outdoor 3D archery shoot in the Southwest, where visitors of all ages will be able to register for “shoot for fun” courses or compete for prizes. There is also a raffle for a Bull Elk Hunt on the White Mountain Apache Reservation, valued at $27,500! The event will take place June 30 – July 2, 2023.
In addition to the 3D archery shoot, families will be able to enjoy other summer activities at Sunrise Park Resort, including scenic lift rides, zip lining, rock climbing, horseback riding and more. *Note: for safety, mountain biking and hiking will not be available during the shootout weekend

Registration Deadlines:
- COMPETITIVE ONLINE Registration will end Sunday, June 25th.
- COMPETITIVE ONSITE Registration can be purchased Wed – Sun, until 3:30 pm, June 30th.
- FUN SHOOT Registration will be available ONSITE until 12 pm Sunday, July 2nd.

Fri, Sat, Sun – 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Fun Shoot registration will be available on-site starting 7am daily until Sunday, July 2nd, at noon.
Fun shoot participants can shoot up to 4 courses per day (plus the two extreme courses). Participants may purchase an additional fun shoot ticket to shoot an additional 4 courses per day.

- One Family Friendly Walking Course, nearest Sunrise Base – 10 Targets
- One Child Friendly Walking Course, nearest Sunrise Base – 10 Targets
- Two Lift Accessed, Extreme Courses (Ages 18+) – 10 Targets per course

Competitive Shoot
The 3D Competitive Shoot is a Two-Day Tournament held at Cyclone Base! Registration and check-in is available starting at 7am.
The Tournament begins at 8:30 am, Saturday, July 1st and will end Sunday, July 2nd.
The Award’s Ceremony will take place at Sunrise Base around 3:00 pm on July 2, after all Competitive Shoots have Concluded.
All Pee Wee Participants will receive an Award!
Pee-Wee, Cub, & Youth:
8 & under, 9-12, and 13-17
- Two 10 Target Course with Double Scoring
- Shoot time: 12:30pm July 1st & 2nd
- 12:00pm Mandatory Shooters Meeting both days at Cyclone Lodge
- Prizes: Trophy for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Adult and Seniors:
- Two 20 Target Courses with Double Scoring
- Shoot time: 8:30am July 1st & 2nd
- 8:00am Mandatory Shooters Meeting both days at Cyclone Lodge
- Prizes: Buckle for 1st, Trophy for 2nd and 3rd
- Add Fun Courses for $20 (pre-reg) or $25 (on-site)

Vendor Spaces are Available Outdoors in the Sunrise Base Area, as well as Inside the Sunrise Base Day Lodge. Vendors will be featured on the Sunrise 3D Shootout Vendor Page.

- Course Sponsorship – $100 per course: Display a sign at the start of one of our 16 courses with your business name, logo, or a promo offer. Discount available for sponsoring multiple courses.
- Score Card Sponsorship – $300 (4 spots available): Include your business on all fun shoot and extreme shoot scorecards.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are prices for the entire weekend?
Yes, the prices listed include Fri-Sun for Fun shoots (4 courses per day) and Sat-Sun for Competitive Shoots.
How many fun courses can I shoot?
Fun course participants can shoot up to 4 fun courses per day (plus the two extreme courses). If you would like to shoot more than 4 courses per day, you can purchase an additional registration.
Are lift tickets required?
Lift tickets are included for all shoots that require lift access. Additional lift tickets for non-shooters can be purchased at the base.
Will camping be available?
Yes, camping will be available at the Sunrise Campground as well as at Hawley Lake, Big Bear Lake & Little Bear Lake with a permit from either the Sunrise General Store or Hon-Dah. Will there be fireworks?
Yes, fireworks are scheduled for Saturday, July 1st, at Sunrise Base Area.
