Feel the Rush on Arizona’s Ultimate Zip Line Adventure! 🌄 Soar down the mountain on the state’s longest and fastest zip line, hitting speeds over 50mph! Challenge a friend on our tandem lines and see who reaches the base first. Open Fridays through Sundays in September and Saturdays and Sundays in October. Don’t miss out—our season ends on October 26. Plan your high-country escape today!
Fall Colors are on the way! Prepare your visit to Sunrise to see the most spectacular display of fall colors in Arizona. Fall colors start around the end of September and reach their peak around the first two weeks of October. Scenic lift rides are available Fri-Sun in September and Sat-Sun in October. There is also a host of other activities available, including the Sunrise Apache Alpine Coaster!
@sunrisepeakscramble is this weekend: Online registration closes TOMORROW! The Sunrise Scramble is brought to the mountain by NAU Cycling and is open to the public. College participants will be competing for qualifying points. A USA Cycling license is required for race registration. For single day events (cross country and short track) a one-day USA Cycling permit can be used. For those racing multi day events (downhill and dual slalom) two one day licenses or a one-year license must be purchased. A lift ticket can be purchased for a single day or the weekend at the Sunrise Park Resort ticketing window on the second floor of the Sunrise Day Lodge. No electric bikes will be permitted at the 2024 Sunrise Peak Scramble, thank you for understanding!

🎣 The Great Outdoors! Did you know there is some excellent fishing, canoeing, and kayaking at Sunrise Lake? Pick up your fishing or boating permit at Sunrise General Store. Sunrise Park Lodge also sits right on the lake, so your morning fishing trip can be just steps away from your room at the lodge. After your day on the lake, visit Sunset Grill or the Bigfoot Pub in the hotel for a drink and a delicious dinner with a view of the water.

Getting to Sunrise

Sunrise Park Resort is part of the White Mountain Apache Tribe in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona. The resort is just a four-hour drive from Phoenix with two different routes of similar drive times. Sunrise is also under four hours from Tucson or Albuquerque, NM.
