Wake Up & Shred: Overnight Snow Delivers!

Good morning, powder seekers! ❄️ Mother Nature delivered overnight with 6 inches at the base and a tasty 10 inches up at Sunrise Peak. Soft turns, fresh lines, and that unmistakable midwinter stoke are on tap today. The mountain has a refreshed look and feel, with plenty of playful pockets to keep things interesting from top to bottom. A quick heads-up: with all this new snow, unmarked obstacles do exist, so keep your eyes up and your turns smart—especially off the beaten path. Our patrol team is already hard at work, and the upper mountain will open as soon as patrol clears the runs. Stay tuned, stay safe, and get ready to make the most of a seriously fun day out there. Slopes Open During Daytime, Night Skiing Postponed

We would like to inform our guests that daytime operations are proceeding as scheduled for January 2 & 3, 2026, and the resort is open for regular daily activities. However, night skiing has been postponed for January 2 & 3, 2026 due to current conditions. This decision has been made in the interest of safety for both our guests and staff. Conditions will continue to be monitored, and updates will be communicated as soon as they become available. Now Open DAILY! Gear up and hit the slopes!

We are now open to the top of Spirit Ridge (Lift 8) with daily operations! Get your skis and boards ready and hit the slopes! New this season: children 12 & under are free. We also offer free tickets for seniors 75+. All other ages have tickets available starting at $25 online. Join us tonight at 6pm for a Christmas tree lighting at the hotel. Upper trails are ready, and we need to make one last push with snowmaking as soon as we get a cold enough window to fill in the very top by the lift. Natural Snowfall and Snowmaking

Sunrise received 3" of snowfall overnight and we have been running max snowmaking at every opportunity to fill in the slopes for opening day next week. This season we are also revamping our rates structure with some of our best deals ever for families to enjoy the slopes! Tickets will be free for ages 12 & under or 75+ and tickets for other ages start as low as $25! We expect to open December 12.

This also means temps low enough to also make snow with our arsenal of 24 new snowmakers as well as all of our previous fleet. Expect better coverage and better conditions even with an unpredictable season. First Measurable Snowfall!

Sunrise Park Resort saw our first measureable snowfall of the season yesterday and we are expecting a bit more in the coming days.
