Snow Report
The snow report below is updated each morning during the ski season and our live webcams are available at the bottom of this page.
Please purchase tickets online prior to arrival. Sunrise has new RFID pass cards this season, so any previous pass cards will not work to reload. Once purchasing a pass online, just scan your confirmation at a Skiosk at the Ticket Office to retrieve your new pass. Season Passes are available for pickup at Guest Services (Day Lodge, Level 2). On-site sales will be available but may have extended wait times and additional fees.
Now Closed for Winter
Updated: April 2nd, 2024 10:08am
We would like to thank all of you for visiting this winter. Trust us, we love winter just as much as you! Although snow is a vital element of the Sunrise winter experience, we also rely on guest visits to operate and maintain our staff as well as invest in Sunrise's future. As we continue through March, and similar to the historical averages, we are now seeing a fraction of the visitors as compared previous months. Operating a ski resort is costly. Maintaining the current operations with a decrease in visitors has an impact on our ability to tackle upcoming summer projects and invest further in other improvements for the future of Sunrise. This season has been another for the books! Sunrise opened December 1st and will close March 31st. This has been an excellent season despite a later start of snowstorms. We hope to see you on the mountain this summer for mountain biking, zip lining, scenic lift rides, and the opening of the new Sunrise Apache Alpine Coaster. Coaster construction began two weeks ago, and we look to open for riders at the beginning of our summer season. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates as we work to transition to summer operations. We also have some exciting future projects in the works, so stay tuned for more info on those as well!
Sincerely,
Team Sunrise
