Sunrise 3D Shootout
As the largest outdoor 3D archery shoot in the Southwest, visitors will be able to register for “shoot for fun” courses or compete for prizes. There is also a raffle for a Trophy Bull Elk Hunt on the White Mountain Apache Reservation, valued at $22,000! The event will take place July 1 – 3, 2022 and an additional bonus shoot will be held July 4.
In addition to the 3D archery shoot, families will be able to enjoy other summer activities at Sunrise Park Resort, including scenic lift rides, zip lining, rock climbing, horseback riding and more. *Note: for safety, mountain biking and hiking will not be available during the shootout weekend

Competitive Shoot
The 3D Competitive Shoot is a Two Day Tournament held at Cyclone Base!
The Tournament begins at 8:30 am, Saturday, July 2nd and will end Sunday, July 3rd.
The Award’s Ceremony will take place at Sunrise Base, after all Competitive Shoots have Concluded.
All Pee Wee Participants will receive an Award!
Pee-Wee, Cub, & Youth:
8 & under, 9-12, and 13-17
- Two 10 Target Course with Double Scoring
- Shoot time: 12:30pm July 2nd & 3rd
- 12:00pm Mandatory Shooters Meeting both days at Cyclone Lodge
- Prizes: Trophy for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Sponsorship Opportunities
- Banners with Business Name/Logo in front of actual course (name of course) can be purchased for $400.00
- Business Card/Logo or Business Coupon on the back of participant Score Card can be purchased for $200.00
- Businesses that would like a banner for a course and their card/logo/coupon on the score card can do so for $500.00 ($100 saving).
**Only 4 businesses will have the opportunity to be placed on a score card. This is a great way to reach all estimated 2,500 participants**
Frequently Asked Questions
Are prices for the entire weekend?
The prices listed are include Fri-Sun for Fun shoots and Sat-Sun for Competitive Shoots. The Bonus Day, Monday, July 4, is a separate ticket.
Are lift tickets required?
Lift tickets are included for all shoots that require lift access. Additional lift tickets for non-shooters can be purchased at the base.
Will camping be available?
Yes, camping will be available at the Sunrise Campground as well as at Hawley Lake, Big Bear Lake & Little Bear Lake with a permit from either the Sunrise General Store or Hon-Dah. Will there be fireworks?
Fireworks are not currently scheduled for Independence Day Weekend this year. The region has already experienced earlier than normal fire restrictions that we expect to increase into July due to extremely dry conditions. If the status of fireworks changes, we will post updates here and on our social media pages.
