Employment: Marketing & Media Coordinator

Job Summary

Supports our marketing team in developing media content for marketing, works with media and marketing partners to manage and develop advertising, review campaign analytics to understand effectiveness of campaigns, and works with the marketing department to handle various aspects of marketing for Sunrise. Communicate activity and event information to the public in fun and effective ways to encourage awareness and excitement for Sunrise.


Location: On-site at Sunrise Park Resort

Department: Sales/Marketing

Reports to: Human Resources

Employment Status/Type: 10 Month Year-Round Full Time (time away in shoulder season- April and September)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or similar field preferred

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Works with Marketing and Sales & Events Coordinator to develop advertising campaigns to promote seasonal activities and events
  • Regularly create photo and video content highlighting visitors, events, and on-site activities
  • Obtain physical and creative specifications from media partners for creative team to develop advertisements
  • Collaborate with Marketing to organize photography and video assets
  • Research advertising opportunities
  • Write copy that maintains brand image and messaging across all media
  • Monitor and manage social media accounts, including creating posts, replying to comments, and direct message customer communication
  • Create engaging and informative content for web, social media, and print media


  • Demonstrate adequate written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently on projects
  • Proficiency with manual camera operation and working knowledge of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, and exposure settings
  • Knowledge and experience working with RAW photo development and management
  • Knowledge of video shooting formats,
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom (classic and mobile) and Photoshop
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, and Illustrator
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience with photography and videography
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications

Sunrise Park Resort is a wholly owned and operated tribal entity of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and is located in Greer, Arizona.  Sunrise is Arizona’s premier mountain resort destination.  Elevation – 9,200 feet above sea level.
