Experience thrilling drops, heart-pounding turns, and breathtaking views with Arizona’s newest mountain thrill ride! Owned and operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe, the Sunrise Apache Alpine Coaster is one of only two alpine coasters in Arizona and is the only tribal coaster in the country!
Next summer families can experience the Sunrise Apache Alpine Coaster, with over 3,000 feet of track and breathtaking mountain views! This high-tech coaster is engineered by Wiegand, the world-wide leader in mountain coasters. It features individual carts where riders control their own speed with a hand brake as they fly down the mountain. Young children can also ride with a parent. Each cart has a top speed of 25mph and the carts automatically maintain a safe distance between each other. The coaster will be available to ride in both the summer and winter seasons.

- Min Passenger Height: 38″
- Must be 16+ to have a secondary rider
- Max Weight (wet track): 330lbs
- Max Weight (dry track): 375lbs

The Sunrise Apache Alpine Coaster construction has been moving right along. We now have substantial sections of track in place as the coaster engineers work to weave the track downhill through the beautiful mountainside! Opening summer 2024, the Sunrise Apache Alpine Coaster will feature year-round family fun! Stay tuned to our page for updates as we continue construction!
